Doncon played not too long ago in Lawrence but it was midweek and I was not feeling well and had to be at work early the next am..... I was so disappointed. I do believe I will try to find this new release of his. You mentioned yesterday how quiet the list has been.....I'm reading daily even if I dont write. I did have a magic moment last night. Stopped by my daughter's after work and the 4 mo old boy laughed and laughed for me. It was a perfect way to wind down after a stressful day. Two things our 9 year old granddaughter (Casey) said recently gave me a good inside laugh. (If I'd laughed out loud it might discourage such comments in the future.) Casey stayed with me Monday and Tuesday since she was on spring break and her mother was working. I was dressing to go somewhere and chose a striped shirt to wear. Casey said: "I like that shirt Grandma. It makes you look younger since people my age wear shirts like that." Casey's mom and I visited an alterations shop yesterday to have dresses we will be wearing for my eldest daughter's wedding altered. Casey looked at me in my dress and said: "Grandma, you should wear the padded bra we gave you for Christmas with that dress." When the alterations lady laughed Casey said: "My mom and I gave Grandma that bra because she always complains about being flat." The perfect Gorka line here: I wish that you could live forever And that I could be there too And that there'd be generations To look after me and you But I know that isn't likely So I guess I'll say it now That I'll love you past the boundaries That time and breath allow ...And I'm glad to be part of your own Thanks for sharing the story Robbie. Can't wait to see pictures from the wedding!
