O.K., gangs; this year's Kerrville (Texas) Folk Festival takes place from May 23 to June 9. David Wilcox will be at this year's festival on Friday, May 31, and John Gorka will be there on Sunday, June 2 . . . If you don't have time for the whole eighteen-day event but can make it for a few days, this sounds like the best possible weekend, campers. For more information including ticket prices, artist appearance schedules, accommodations and camping possibilities, directions and more, go to http://www.kerrville-music.com/ (Sounds like yet another excuse for a long motorcycle ride to me . . . ) See you there! I've never been to Kerrville (that's going to change in May, lady), but it is my understanding that reservations for accommodations need to be made separately from your ticket purchase. If you'll go to http://www.qvranch.com/ you'll see that renting a tent site at the "Quiet Valley Ranch" costs $5.00/day. Perhaps Eric or other Kerrville veterans can shed more light on this for us.
