Hi All We are about an hour from manhattan- several of my volunteers work in the city, in fact, 3 were in the towers, but all got out safely. John played for us on the 22nd of September- everything was still quite fresh, but he did an incredibly moving show. While he didn't address the crisis too directly, he did many healing songs. I am sorry I didn't get a set list, (though I got to hear almost all of the show) but it was a busy night. I hope to get some concert photos up soon, but in the meantime, I though some of you might like this photo - (The stars were not put up for the events of the 11th - I believe the kids in each months "honor society" get a star with their name on it. But in the circumstances, it made quite a striking shot.) http://outtasightsandsounds.com/photos/dings/stars.jpg Gaudete, Tay "In this very breath that we take now lies the secret that all great teachers try to tell us." - Peter Matthiessen 24 hour Hotline: 609-259-5764 http://outtasightsandsounds.com Cybrarian-Publicity-Publishing for Outta Sights & Sounds, Hightstown, NJ - ------------------------------------- Visit my dwarf hamsters at The Figgery http://members.home.com/powzie ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 15 Oct 2001 13:02:04 -0500 From: "Robbie Piper" Subject: Re: Is John talking about WTC ? Thanks Mary and Adam, I hope John Gorka will record "Only Love Can Mend A Heart" and "The Old Future's Gone" soon. Perhaps Red house records can make a special sampler.....
