I agree. And - guess what? - 12 copies is just as "illegal" as 1,012 copies. :) Joe ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 29 Jul 2001 15:47:31 -0500 From: "Sheila Guilfoyle" Subject: Re: "Bootless" As a short-time member of this list (1.5 years). I usually enjoy it. Great concert reviews--heads up on house concerts and radio shows. And intros to new/up & coming artists who have opened for JG. But----this is the part that is like a high school clique. Who told who what in private and why was "I"excluded. If memory serves me right this thread ends up with a million unconstructive email messages, an ongoing debate of the virtues or vices of bootlegging, and usually ends in some parallel universe speculation about what JG really thinks about "at cost" bootlegging of his livelihood. I for one would like to see the list keep its discussion character. smg >From: "Dan Lins" >Reply-To: good-noise@smoe.org >To: good-noise@smoe.org >Subject: Re: "Bootless" >Date: Sun, 29 Jul 2001 11:12:29 -0500 > >If the bootleg offer was made "privately off the list" then keep the thanks >and kudos to Jos private and off the list, too!
