I highly recommend it! It is so full of imagery, about two young children sneaking out into on a clear summer night ('if it's warm and it's clear, and a full moon tonight, let's go down to my mother's garden') and smelling the flowers and gorging on ripe summer fruit... 'And my mother she sleeps and she knows, one eye open, the other eye closed... In the morning she'll smile, and she'll wave us good-bye - and she'll never betray or adventure' She sang it once, as an unexpected encore, when we yelled out that we had all brought our moms to the show. Wasn't a dry eye in the bunch!! Gorka content? Hmmmmm...I think both Susan and John have appeared on the same Christine Lavin compilation CD....... ;-) Moms Rule Suzie Tee ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 15 Jun 2001 20:29:54 EDT From: ThePsyche@aol.com Subject: Re: Mother Songs Suzie T writes: > Gorka content? As for the Moms rule part.......isn't it Father's Day weekend? Adios, Bryn ------------------------------ End of good-noise-digest V4 #115 ********************************
