Subject: re: Lucy Kaplansky I missed the NY show, but was at the Whitney Chapel show. It was awesome. He brought along a special guest by the name of alice peacock.....damn, the harmonies...they were perfect....it was so good. Afterwards someone was passing out flyers for a guy named Todd Sheaffer. The flyer had some impressive quotes on it, so I picked up his disk on blind faith when I was getting "the company you keep." I started with the Sheaffer disc and man is it good! A real well done live CD. I'm on to my new Gorka CD now though. Anyway, just some ramblings from me. Dream of Love is one of the best live CDs I have ever heard. I've seen Todd Sheaffer live on several occasions, and I can attest that he always puts on an incredible show... I can't wait until his next CD... I used to follow him when he fronted From Good Homes (all of FGH's stuff is awesome, by the way)... Anyway, I'd love to see him and Gorka do a show together... That would be INCREDIBLE!!!! By the way, Todd's Web site is www.toddsheaffer.com... Peace! I posted in about him awhile back, but didn't get any responses at the time, so i didn't want to push... But Todd's music is absolutely fantastic. Anybody who digs Gorka should definitely check out Todd Sheaffer. In addition to being a Gorka fan, I'm actually the webmaster for www.ToddSheaffer.com... Check it out! You can actually order Todd's record - "Dream of Love - Live at Whitney Chapel" - via the site. If anyone has any questions about Todd or his music, feel free to drop me a line...
