I highly recommend Lucy to any Gorka fan. I also got a copy of "A Nod to Bob." John is just wonderful on it. He sings "Girl of the North Country." Cliff Eberhardt also does an amazing version of "I Want You." Are there any Cliff fans on this list? He is another one that I highly recommend to go see in concert. So much talent to appreciate! Cliff is just amazing and a very funny guy, too. I don't know Nina Gerber's work, but considering your taste in music, Gina, I think I'll have to check her out. : ) Bunny ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 21 Apr 2001 15:05:28 EDT From: Togg4@gateway.net Subject: It's a bee story for Smokey the B - OT Two bees ran into each other. One asked the other how things were going. "Really bad," said the second bee, "the weather has been really wet and damp and there aren't any flowers or pollen, so I can't make any honey." "No problem," said the first bee, "Just fly down five blocks and turn left and keep going until you see all the cars. There's a Bar Mitzvah going on and there are all kinds of fresh flowers and fresh fruit." "Thanks for the tip," said the second bee and flew away. A few hours later the two bees ran into each other again and the first bee asked, "How'd it go?" "Fine," said the second bee, "It was everything you said it would be." "Uh, what's that thing on your head?" asked the first bee. "That's my yarmulke," said the second bee, "I didn't want them to think I was a wasp." ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 21 Apr 2001 22:15:39 EDT From: SMOKEY596@aol.com Subject: Re: It's a bee story for Smokey the B - OT :-) Funny story, but don't scare me like that!! Listening to Don Conoscenti's new CD, "Paradox of Grace". Excellent! Especially good since Ellis Paul sings prominently on many of the tracks. Don and Ellis together just can't be beat! I highly recommend this one. I haven't seen Don since Bryn's concert last December, so listening to him makes me very anxious to see him again! Just two weeks to go, and I'll see him three times in less than a week, including a date at my brother's house. Yay! :-) SMOKEY GOV.
