What an amazing experience! Tom Paxton AND Mr. Gorka! Paul isn't on this list that I know of....he wrote me through our fan web site and we are meeting tonight to enjoy Gorka together at a great little coffee house near the beach. I had a dream about this show tonight last night....I obviously need a Gorka fix...no music all week but we brought our Artist's Profile video so maybe I will watch that today. He is getting nice coverage in the local newspaper too, which I show off to my mother. Hey, what do the rest of you think about this list being shut down due to the high cost of maintainging it and a general lack of interest on our parts? (Come to think of it, you may not even be reading this message from me since the shut-down is scheduled to occur today.) In the message which I received earlier this morning, the people at "good-noise" simply stated that the list was virtually non-functional and that it just wasn't worth their time and effort to keep it up any longer. I know that we go through our occasional periods of relative quiet, but it's a fairly harmonious group, and it doesn't seem to me to be all that expensive to maintain. Will this have any affect on the other related items (like Susan's and Paula's "Gypsy Life" Gorka website), or are they separate and distinct? Could we get a copy of all those who are this list and then just move it to another one? We need some of you more "computer-literate" types out there to help out on this one, and quickly! However, I, for one, am not all that worried about it since I know that it's just an . . . A P R I L F O O L ' S J O K E ! ! ! Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha . . . I always think that it's a good thing when I keep wanting to see more when I have just left a concert. I WANT MORE! If you wouldn't mind, could you ask Paul if the second show was different from the first one? I always wonder about that. There are usually empty seats for a second show. When I am having a good time, I am tempted to stay. But, I really don't want to see a repeat of the same show. Since John doesn't appear to use a set list, it seems to me that they might be different. Smokey and Steve - Bhave!
