All I can say is if you haven't gotten you're copy yet, what are you waiting for?! I think it's a fabulous CD that I will return to for years and years to come. I was joking with a fellow good-noiser that I can't believe how positive and optimistic his recordings have become. A far cry from Land of the Bottom Line. I like it though, I'm sure it reflects his real life and the changes he's gone through (me too). There is a nice mix of tunes on the CD. I find myself singing a few lines in my head long after the stereo has been turned off. One's that have been looping in my brain.... "What was that that I just said" ... "Oh Abraham was it all about the money then" ... "In my high school Espanol" (this one a lot, I love the build-up to this line) ... "Though I am an ignoramimous, ignoranimous that's the word" (love that line, classic Gorka). I've read some things about the sound of the CD being a little rough and to be honest haven't really had that feeling about it. I think his voice is out in front a little more than usual (nothing wrong with that, he has a great voice) and it's maybe a little less polished than other of his CDs, but I believe that is intentional. I get a great connection to the songs because they seem more real because of this kind of production, more texture to grab hold of. Just my opinion. Anyhow, thank you Mr. Gorka, wherever you are, for a great CD and as someone who has two young perpetual motion machines at home myself, I'd just like to say "Oh, yes we're walking, we're really walking, sometimes we're talking, but now we're walking, walking, walking ".
