Congratulations, Sam! Not only did you achieve a double concert as well as an autograph and a handshake and a "group photograph" with the inimitable John Gorka, but you also scored one of his guitar picks - what a hoot! I'm a serious Gorkaholic, but have only seen him in concert once myself, and that was just a few months ago. Glad to hear that you and your wife made it there and back safely and that you had such a good time at his performance. JG is a true entertainer, a formidable stage presence and a very funny, witty guy, isn't he? There are so many subtleties and nuances incorporated into his performances that it would be nice to be able to video tape them and then play them back later, just to make sure you didn't miss anything - sort of like watching Robin Williams in "Good Morning Vietnam"!. Well, I certainly hope that Susan and PBBPP will consider incorporating part of your musings into their web site. Hey, by the way, that reminds me . . . I still haven't gotten my copy of that house key, man . . . Thanks! Steve > We saw JG and lived to tell about it!
