Subject: Des Moines show

Mary, I called on that show a couple of weeks ago, and at the time, they had only sold half of the 300 seats. It is a six hour drive for me and since Bryn and I are going to see John and Mustard's Retreat in Chicago in early March, so I am wavering on making the trek to Des Moines. My husband can't believe I am flaking out on this and he wants to go, but it's just a really bad day for me. Hope you go and have a good time!

Hey Gang,

It is Susan, Mother Folker, Finn's birthday today. I am not telling how old
she is, but that glow you see coming up form the Midwest is the light from
her birthday cake.

She's not getting older, just better.

He is someone I have had the pleasure of seeing a lot the end of last year,
