You all have heard me rave about his performance there, but I'm going to do it again. I can honestly say I stopped breathing during his performance, his vocals were so beautiful and his music so pure. The acoustics in this hall are unbelievable and it seems to have been designed with him in mind. Since Moravian is his alma mater, I think it all the more fitting that John perform there. I get the feeling that there is some "history" between John and Musikfest (didn't he open the first 'Fest?) I really, really want to see him there again, and I want all of the people on this list to come out for the festival culminating (or commencing) with John's performance. Has anyone on the list come to this festival and or seen John there? Thanks for bearing with me ... hope someone with some decision making powers hears this... ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 30 Nov 2000 11:17:38 EST From: ThePsyche@aol.com Subject: Re: Suggesting a venue for JG Twhobar@aol.com writes: << I get the feeling that there is some "history" between John and Musikfest (didn't he open the first 'Fest?) I like the idea of us all meeting, but I wonder if John would be overwhelmed by all of us? How many are we.....5, 6? This list is much like John's music, intimate and real. I love the idea Tami and I would make a summer plan and a road trip with the family for something like that! Let's see if we really *do* have the ear of management! Just an idea from my own "wish list." Beth ------------------------------ End of good-noise-digest V3 #125 ********************************
