Edwin McCain finally hit it big 2 years ago, after his song "I'll Be" was featured on the Fox-TV show Party of Five. He got his start in his home state of South Carolina, where his close friends in Hootie & the Blowfish found fast success. Edwin has often sited John's music, as well as that of David Wilcox (who also did "Let Them In" on his Home Again CD), as being a huge influence on him. Having met him 4 years ago after a show in Rhode Island, I can say he's one of the most approachable, down-to-earth people in the music biz. Gorka content: I'm dying for a live JG show down here!
