The weather here had turned from partly cloudy to grey, cold and rainy. As I started my truck, the station I had on which usually is talk radio was playing music....a Gorka song no less. But not sung by John. The song was Let Them In. It was beautifully done by Edwin McCain(spelling) someone I have not heard of. As it ended, the DJ told the story of how the song came to be and mentioned John. He said he had seen news casts earlier in the day where reporters were talking to War veterans. He said that was all well and good but he thought there ought to be a way to honor those who had died in battle. Hence, the Edwin McCain version of Let Them In. Good Choice, especially on such a gray afternoon. The song fit my mood pefectly. Peace to all my fellow listers.
