It combines the best in folk music with the crafts/arts of local artisans in a family friendly atmosphere. I would recommend attendance to everyone on the list in range of beautiful, downtown Elmer, NJ on June 3rd,2000. (Plus, its all for a nonprofit, worthy cause....Elmer Farm operates as an art camp for children). This year, however, is a special case. Although an official lineup for this year's festival has not been officially announced on the Appel Farm website Welcome to Appel Farm ...gathering info from Pollstar and individual artists websites..the lineup for this year is one of its all-time best..including, Richard Thompson, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Jonatha Brooke, Willy Porter, Moxy Fruvous, Martin Sexton, Lucy Kaplansky, and ..last but not least... JOHN GORKA. Is that a perfect spring day or what? Hope to see everyone there. Larry. ------------------------------ End of good-noise-digest V3 #25 *******************************
