I haven't seen John for awhile, but I'm planning to go see him in Cincinnati (Newport, KY) next month. That's a little bit longer drive for you, but come on down! It's a 2 1/2 hour drive for me, but I made it twice in one week just to see Ellis Paul...plus I have friends over there, so it's a good trip. :-) I don't have any Gorka news, other than I heard "Blue Chalk" on the radio this morning. That was great, except the DJ said it was "the latest from his 'Between Five and Seven' Cd". Geeze. They know better, because they featured "After Yesterday" when it came out. Shameless plug: Everyone, go out and buy Ellis Paul's new live CD which will be available Tuesday! You won't regret it! :-) See ya! We also receive news from Lucy Kaplansky (she actually writes a newsy letter) periodically. About a month or so ago she had been working with John on his new recording. She didn't provide any information about release date, but she did comment that John has about the cutest kids in the world. Save up!
