Wow, apparently this e-mail was first sent to Alpha Centuri before it was sent back to the list. I sent it on Oct. 24 and it arrives almost two weeks later. Arrived early so was able to sit front & center. Many people there were not familiar with his work. My boyfriend who is not a crazed fan seemed to enjoy himself and laughed out loud at the comment John always makes about those drug here against their will. I didnt make a set list but he sang a good variety. I was not the only one to request a song tho so at least someone knew ahead what a treat they were in for. I did get the chance to speak to John briefly after his performance and mentioned the good-noise list and how much we would like one CD with all his covers. He was very polite and said something about never having thought of that. I wont hold my breath but sure would love to see it.
