John Gorka does a beautiful version of Eric Anderson's THIRSTY BOOTS, about resting between Civil Rights Rallies. Cry Cry Cry covers the Last Thing on My Mind by Tom Paxton, with each of the singers doing a verse - nice variety. One of the best covers on the CD is Paul Brady's version of the Chet Powers LET'S GET TOGETHER and the instrumental version of Turn, Turn, Turn which concludes the CD. All in all, Bleeker Street is wonderful. I stuck them on a temporary page at http://users.erols.com/powzie/temp/tempgorka.html and i will leave them there for a couple of days. ** Warning- this isn't the Outta Sights web, so if you back the url up to the powzie name, you will find yourself looking at pictures of my dwarf siberian hamsters. I know some people hate this sort of thing, so consider yourselves warned.** PS- I got to hear John perform that Eric Anderson song when he was here. Quite outstanding, but very disconcerting in the lobby when the voice Terry and I knew went with that song was not what we were hearing. Ahh, the 60s! (And I was even drug free!! ) Gaudete, Tay blood will tell but often it tells too much -archy (& mehitable) Music: 24 hour Hotline: 609-259-5764 http://users.aol.com/osnsnews Cybrarian and Publicity-Publishing for Outta Sights & Sounds, Hightstown, NJ - ------------------------------------- Visit us at The Figgery http://www.erols.com.powzie ------------------------------ End of good-noise-digest V2 #108 ********************************
