And strangely, I thought of this list and sort of composed this post while listening to the instructor talk about airbags, DUIs and improper lane usage. You see, I arrived a bit early and got to watch the other 40 violators enter the room. One guy in particular caught my eye. A shaggy character, who looked like he had slept in his clothes, was there ahead of me and flashed a smile to everyone who entered. He seemed pretty comfortable in this venue and amiably chatted up anyone who would listen. He cracked some jokes and took a seat right in the front row. Everyone noticed him. So, the teacher shows up and sets to organizing the paperwork of the day. Once we are seated and settled she tells us to begin by stating our first name, what type of ticket we received and where it occurred. The first few folks go and then I hear, My name is Edgar. I look up to see that it is indeed the *partyman* of the room. < chuckled to myself > He shared lots of interesting tales of his driving problems and referred to his ongoing relationship with the local police department. I kept waiting for him to offer us all a beer from the chest outside in his party van. End of class as I got to my truck, there he was, climbing into a conversion van. I threw Between Five and Seven in the player and sang Edgar the whole way home. I thought I'd share that with you nice folks. Edgar and I both completed Traffic School, only I think he might return a lot sooner than me! Adios, Bryn PS Edgar, BTw, was there for speeding, 50 in a 25 zone. ------------------------------ End of good-noise-digest V2 #92 *******************************
