I just joined the list, and I thought I would take the opportunity to say hi and to let you know I just posted some photos of John from last month to our website. (You can get to them directly at http://members.aol.com/minkyboodl/soundcheck/gksoundcheck.html.) Those of us who travel to see John perform, myself for one, have seen the *Outta Sights* name on the itinerary posted at the Fleming-Tamelvich web site. It looks and sounds like a wonderful venue for good music. I guess if I do have a jealous bone in my body, it would be that I do not have your job. Welcome to the Gorka list. ON ANOTHER NOTE: A while back somebody from F-T posted concerning my query about John's Artist's Profile Video. Any news on when or if that will be shown or be available for purchase? ON YET ANOTHER NOTE: I have asked this before as well...does anyone have the lyrics to the Body Parts Medley? I have a six year old who needs to know those words.....oh, OK...my kid doesn't need them, I DO! Be well. Have a day. It is, by far, one of the best I have ever heard . . . Any information at all would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! That's be a real treat to have that line-up together for some additional dates! Can't believe it's been almost 5 1/2 years since I saw them all together before! (((((Healing voice vibes for Cliff))))) Jay, I'll be seeing John in King of Prussia next month. Perhaps while you're there seeing Cry, Cry, Cry & Christine Lavin (lucky you!!), you can scope out a good place for some of us to meet? Kerrville sounds like a great time!! I do have a great job! And I encourage everyone who has ever thought about volunteering to give it a try if you have a place near you. I was really shy about it when I started in 1990, especially since I didn't think I had any useful skills. But it's amazing what turns out to be useful! And I am always surprised at how much fun it is, and how much I have learned about music I would never have sought out on my own! By the way-- John was just GREAT that night. He and Jennifer sang about 8 songs together-- he came out in her set as well as inviting her out in his. (He is such a sweetie. ) I have never seen him do a disappointing show, but it is always a kick to see those things that will never be recorded- it's always a concert highlight for me to see people sing together. And I just love it when I get a chance to listen in on Soundchecks, especially the really strange ones! Everytime he has played here, John has checked the piano by playing Tim Hardin's "Reason To Believe" - it ALWAYS makes me cry.
