One question in referrence to the little known album someone mentioned, who's album are you reffering to(the YOU referrence not meant to be rude, just discarded the email is all.)? Second, this goes out to all pickers alike and the owner of the foremost Gorka tab page, Mr Steele, people keep mentioning they have tabbed songs of JG, if they were sent to Mr Steele , what are thoughts of using that page as a spring board for JG music, pending his approval of all tab/chords. That is just an idea , what do you all think? Take it easy, Sean _______________________________________________________________ Get Free Email and Do More On The Web. Even in my filing cabinet, when I click the Nugent icon I end up at a blank black screen. I then type it in my hand and may or may not arrive at the page. Anyone else having trouble? Also, the Geocities advertisements get annoying. Is there a trick to getting those out of the way as you navigate the various Gorka pages? Does anyone else have links to Gorka sites that they have found? My favorite, The Church of John Gorka seems to be gone. that one was simple and to the point in it's tongue-and-cheek-ness. IMHO. > Yes, Anne's is a far more complete site. FYI, Anne currently has a link to my Artist Index page on her LINKS page, and I have a link to her site from my Music Links page. As far as folks sending me tabs and stuff to post on my site, that would be great. Just try to properly attribute the tab. Regarding John's approval of the files: I've received words of encouragement and support on my Cliff Eberhardt site from Cliff himself, but I still try to fly a little below the radar of the copyright lawyers due to the current turmoil surrounding tab and chord files on the internet. So I make no representations of "officiality" to my files, hoping thereby to "avoid any imperial entanglements". Anything that might draw attention to my stuff from less-than-friendly quarters could be a problem for me. I don't get the impression that John is particularly net-oriented, so he may not even be interested, especially since he has a music book out (but in all fairness, so does Cliff). But I am open to whatever might make the site more useful to those of us who love to play John's songs and want to help others to spread the goodness... Hmm well I can still get too it AND reload it. But I've heard from others that can't. Dunno why. Geocities is a very busy place but see below. > Also, the Geocities advertisements get annoying. Is there a trick to getting > those out of the way as you navigate the various Gorka pages? Well I do have a 'geoguide' on the first page which is SUPPOSED to get rid of the pop-ups. Doesn't seem to work lately tho. If I knew of a server around that DIDN'T use pop-ups I'd move the site there. Any ideas? Good thing about geocities is they are always up and reliable.
