I used to live up in Fairbanks (and I'm sure I did when I first got on this list), but I'm now in Reno, NV. Luckily, John has been here once since I got here (well, at least he's been in Carson City, which is close enough!) and will be returning in June. Still, I'm jealous of all the Alaska shows! When I was there we had to drive 7 hours to get to see him! Cheers - Mary On Thu, 8 Apr 1999, Kris Pancoast wrote: > votels wrote: > > Is it Mary Larson that lives in AK? For instance, I won't be able to see JG at the Birchmere in May because I'll be camping at the Gettysburg Bluegrass Festival that weekend for four glorious days! Also, I'm making plans for the Philly Folk Festival and Brandywine Friends of Old Time Music Festival in August. > So much music, so little time. Jay - Here's a link to the info page for the Concert's Under the Stars: http://www.fortissimo.org/clubs/stars/ It's actually in Upper Merion PA, near King of Prussia. They really have a lot of good people playing there again this year!! Also, we'll be at the Philly Folk fest this August! We volunteer there every year. (Look for a campsite called "Jerry's Kids". Hope to see you and possibly others from this list there! (Wouldn't that be a nice surprise to have John play there this year - it's been a few (hint hint!) ------------------------------ End of good-noise-digest V2 #46 *******************************
