Humbled because this shows me how much John Gorka's music reaches out to many people -- for years, I was the only one I knew who was a huge fan and made a point of introducing friends to John's music. Friends thought I was crazy to drive three hours into Pennsylvania to go to the Godfrey Daniels to see John. Grateful because yesterday I was mapping out plans to attend four mid-Atlantic Gorka concerts in April and May, all within a two-hour drive. Thanks, Anders and Erik, for showing me how fortunate I am. If I am lucky enough to make these shows, I will file reviews here with both of you in mind. - -- Jay Votel Erik Bjørgum wrote: > ThePsyche@aol.com wrote: > > > > Do you think there are any > > other Gorka fans in your part of the world? > > Yep! > > I'm a Gorka fan living in Norway. On another topic: Is Anne Nugent, operator of the Geocities Gorka fan page, still in this discussion group? I haven't seen a notice of a page update since I filed a review of the 12-5-98 Painted Bride concert and wondered if all was well. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 12 Jan 1999 13:32:45 -0500 From: Anne Nugent Subject: Re: Thanks, Bryn Jay Votel wrote: > > On another topic: Is Anne Nugent, operator of the Geocities Gorka fan > page, still in this discussion group? Well with me Jay, but not with my HD. :> Seems I got an extra present for xmas this year. I went to get all the OOODLES of email i was sure I had after the holidays and as soon as I uploaded them, my hard drive ate them :) So if you sent me anything after Dec 1st and prior to oh.....last week say, I'd advise sending it again. Most of the vote tallies came through but anything the size of a review would have been eaten. To add anything to the Gorka page (http://www.geocities.com/athens/1293/gorka.html) send mail to me at anugent1@ix.netcom.com.
