This is the normal way for a small list like ours to operate. - -- Chris ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 30 Oct 1998 16:46:03 -0500 From: Chris Thorpe Subject: Review of After Yesterday online. My favorite music site, www.allmusic.com, has a very good review of "After Yesterday". AllMusicGuide REVIEW: With a warm baritone that exudes keen understanding, John Gorka explores the nature of many things on this album. On the very fine "Wisdom," what most would consider a virtue, this singer invests with melancholy baggage: "Wisdom exists though it's not commonly found/It's got the lonesomest howl of any dog in the pound." As with his other fine releases, Gorka gently wends his way through insight after insight, with spare production and an easy confidence. This isn't therapy in the guise of contemporary folk, this is the real deal. -- Tim Sheridan , All-Music Guide ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 30 Oct 1998 22:49:25 EST From: SMOKEY596@aol.com Subject: Re: Favorite song on "After Yesterday" Finally got my cd today! From the first few passings, I would have to say that the songs that jump out at me the most so far are "When the Ice Goes Out" and "January Floor".
