Well I can not remember ever hearing anyone cover one of his songs live, until recently. I attended a Mary Chapin-Carpenter concert a couple of nights ago. When the house lights dimmed a sign with a red flying horse was illuminated, and sure enough Mary came out, with solo acoustic guitar, and sang "Flying Red Horse". She performed a great cover of the song and she thanks John for writing the song. - -- chris ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 4 Aug 1998 21:22:22 -0400 From: "LB" Subject: Re: Ever heard a live cover of a JG song? A friend of mine is a struggling singer-songwriter in NYC, and he does a nice version of "Furniture."
