I heard that she was fighting off a bad cold so that's why it was cut short. You would have never known it with the way she was groovin on stage. I too got to meet her and have her sign a poster. It's funny, I saw her 2 years ago in San Francisco at a much bigger venue, and there was no way to get as close as I got Tuesday nite. She didn't just walk out into the middle of the floor like she did in Chicago. It was really a blessing to be with her that closely. With her added success in the future, that could have been a one time thing. Aimée __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? According to the keyboardist, she had a very bad cold and had the chills all day long. She even referred to it at the end of the show. She played for about 80 minutes, and although I wish it was longer, what was there was SLAMMIN! Perhaps the betrayal spoken of is the lack of an encore. Cut the girl some slack, she was ill! Don't know the details, but I've been watching the promotion closely (thank you Patrick!) The impression I got from the site was that you could get 4 of the 6 tracks for $4.99, and probably can pay more for the other two. That's just my speculation though. One thing that I noticed was that according to Custom Disc's web site, there will be a coupon or something inside the first so many copies (60,000 I think it said) of the cd with the same offer. This seems to indicate that you don't have to order it from any of the online retailers on the address that Patrick gave the URL for (though that page on its own paints a different impression). I decided to just wait and buy "Bitter" at the local record store when it comes out. This way I know for sure that I'll get it on the day it comes out, I'd go nuts waiting for that thing in the mail! If it doesn't have the coupon in it when I buy it, then I'll order another one online. I'm sure I'll wear out the first cd eventually anyway, so it couldn't hurt to have a spare around! - -Mike ------------------------------ End of god-shiva-digest V2 #54 ******************************
