This isn't *directly* related to MNO.. but when I saw it, I thought that it could have happened to her, and as such, maybe we're concerned enough to do something on this issue.. > Subject: Racism and Records > > > > > The Racist Greed Against CHAKA KHAN's New Album "Come into my House"... > NPG > Records --- and why Chaka's album and Prince (NPG records) is the most > dangerous event in music history > > One of the Hottest Album's to hit the stores this year is Chaka Khan's > latest album co-produced with Prince and Larry Graham the bass legend, > on > Prince's label NPG. Check out the USA Today for December 2nd on the cover of the "Life" section...It said that there is a childrens charity book out that comes with a Reprise cd with tracks by various artists, including MeShell. I don't know if it's a new song or what, they didn't say. I also can't remember what the title of the book was either...I do remember that the book/cd combo was $40. I don't know if you can buy the cd by itself or if it is only available as a set. What a wealth of information I am, right? anyway...when I get some ACTUAL facts I'll write again.... Don't forget, that "Down in the Bayou" soundtrack comes out next week with MeShell, D'Angelo, Keb Mo amoung others on it... Later folks Derek ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ End of god-shiva-digest V1 #52 ******************************
