It's amazing!!  The first time I listened to it I was underwhelmed.  But
after listening to it a few more times, it's very moving and powerful.
Lauryn is such a talented lyricist--there's even one song that rhymes
on the same syllable the entire way through.  The duets w/ Mary J.
Blige and D'Angelo are tight, too.  What's nice is that the production
tricks you into thinking its some conventional radio stuff you've heard
a million times before, but then there's a totally unexpected twist that
grabs your attention.  I highly, highly recommend it.

The lyrics are suberbly done, as are the delivery of those lyrics.
I'm less impressed with the music, though, just in general.  Still,
it's worth it (I'll be holding forth on the subject with a full review
at http://www.ai.mit.edu/~isbell/HFh/reviews by end of week).  I
recommend it.

Snow,

The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill is "off the hook".  It is the solo project
that we all knew she was capable of.  Guest appearances by D'Angelo and Mary
J. Blige.  I am not a big Mary J. fan, but she brought it to the table.  It is
definitley worth a look-see.
