yes i know i know. we are all desperate for a new album but sorry to say, her
new project is not coming out any time soon. not even this year.  just gotta
wear those old cd's and tapes out just a little bit more.

For those of you who haven't heard, meshell has been butting heads with
maverick over the content of the album. for example, they don't like "Saving
Grace".  They don't think that we, her fans, would like it, so they said NOPE,
that ain't going on the album.  
From the new stuff I've heard, she's trying to make that "Love"..."I can't
find love"..."love is so painful" kinda album.  very mellow, chill out kinda
stuff, like the stella track.  maverick seems to think we only want to hear
Plantation regurgitated, the angry aggressive "i hate society"..."i hate
organized religion"..."lets get back to the ghetto"....kinda album....and of
course those token pop tunes to make 'em some money.  

As hard as it is, we're just gonna have to wait......and wait.....

I have a feeling Me'Shell will not be with Maverick for too much longer.  Even
if her next release is on that label.  Maverick has reared it's ugly, stiff-
suited heads again, and ya'll can bet the house that Me'Shell is tired of it.

I agree. I think it's time Me'shell started looking for another label to
distribute her music. MAverick is holding her back as an artist. We are
her fan and we decide what we like and what we don't like. It shouldn't be
up to some guys and that MAdonna person to decide what we like. I say
Me'shell should say the hell with Maverick and go to NPG Records.
