Did anyone else attend that particular show? Ingrid was not with her, which made me very sad considering my adoration of her ability, but the band was in good form and the SF crowd tends to lavish her with exultations galore. She opened with Glass Half Empty, which was fantastic and the first time I had heard the song live. She played lots of stuff from Steady Pull, but overall I would say I was sad she didn't play the new one I wanted to hear, 'New Dress.' She didn't play West Point or Full-Fledged Strangers either, or Landmine. She seemed to be in great spirits and was very lively, I think a good time was had by all. It's a great place to see a show and Jo didn't disappoint. If anyone on this list is seeing her tonight in Seattle, let me know if she plays New Dress. dkb **************************************************************************** This email and any files or other attachments transmitted with it are confidential and may be legally privileged and are intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom they are addressed. Had such a great time with you there, was it three years ago? I sent a brief to the list, but I am afraid that I might have just hit reply and it went only to Dave Rager, hope he forwards it on. Should email him. Sounds like Jonatha played the same set, at least the general format, that she played in LA. Fantastic!!!! Glass Empty opener (yes never heard live before), mostly Steady Pull (fantastic), Monster Crumbs, No Better, So Much Mine, Is that All, Because I Told You So, Genius or a Fool, Linger closer, Out of your Mind encore, (no New Dress and no Neil Finn, who does drop in on folks when he is in LA) But absolutely no disapointment, though I was hoping for New Dress as well. The Band rocks very hard, Thank god. Tired of bands not willing to push the volume and frantic edge and yet achieve the quiet subtleties of the song. Jo and her band work the sonic spectrum. So glad she has settlel into a band that can really explore her magnificient music. They all seem to be having a great time on stage. Thanks for reporting on The Fillmore DK. Hope we get more reports from the rest of the tour.
