I do mine laboriously, by hand, but it's not that difficult. It's just a question of adding an xml file to the site and a line of code to your pages, plus maybe a link on the page. Once it's set up you can just add new items and change dates when needed. Take a look at my update rss: http://punkcast.com/punkcast.xml (if you're on Firefox 2.0 you'll have to go 'View Page Source') It's popular practice to submit one's feed to feedburner.com and then link to that, as it gives a nice web page to IE users, with subscription options.
