Cool story Sara! I gotta move to NYC...there is no action in Florida!! :( Anyway...speaking of LJ...anyone have LJ videos, either on the computer or VHS that they want to trade. I miss trading LJ stuff and I have a lot but not everything so I'm looking for anything you might have or that may be in better quality then some of my stuff. I'd like to compile an LJ tape and edit it all nice on my computer. Anyone know how to get VHS inputed/digitized into a Windows based PC? Any info would be greatly appreciated since I rather edit it at home then at work. So please e-mail me if you'd like to trade any LJ video or audio stuff...ktyerves@hotmail.com I'm also interested in trading guitar/bass tab since I don't have all of that either. :) And Sara...do you still have the LJ site up? If so, what's the address. I know you changed it awhile ago but I don't know if it's still up or where it is. OK...have a great week everyone! ~Kate~ >From: "sara superhero" >Reply-To: find-your-mind@smoe.org >To: find-your-mind@smoe.org >Subject: find-your-mind so... >Date: Mon, 22 Jul 2002 16:51:18 -0400 > >so i ran into gabby saturday late night at this restaurant/bar in the city. >i had an amazing day at coney island seeing sleater-kinney and pretty girls >make graves among others and then we decided to head into manhattan for a >meal at a place that could accomodate 10 at a late hour and we are sitting >around waiting for our food and who walks by but ms. glaser. i just sit >there and don't say anything but she stands there for a bit, she was on her >way to the bathroom so i shouted her name and she came over to chat. she >gave me a kiss on the cheek and we chatted about our lives and the other >girls a little. gabby looked good and seemed to be in good spirits. she >didn't really elaborate as to what she was up to these days but it was >really nice to see her. > >it was sorta ironic that i ran into her because about 15 minutes earlier my >friend was telling me she was watching an old tape of something and there >were 2 pete and pete episodes on it and she described one and then i'm like >when i was home last the luscious jackson one was on noggin, and thats the >only one i have on tape and then she described the 2nd episode and it was >the lj one. so when gabby came over my friend and another girl at the table >were quietly freaking out and then after she left they mentioned the pete >and pete episode and who she was and then a few more of the people at the >table freaked out. i felt cool. haha... > >sara > >and i'm certain, if i drive into those trees, >it'd make less of a mess than you've made of me. > --rainer maria > >http://homepage.mac.com/quietcore >listen to radio agony... http://radioagony.cjb.net > > >_________________________________________________________________ >Send and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: http://mobile.msn.com _________________________________________________________________ Join the worlds largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 22 Jul 2002 20:32:54 -0400 From: WWWhatsup Subject: Re: find-your-mind so... sara superhero wrote: > amazing day at coney island i went at looked at that stage but it was too darn crowded so i went over to the 'boys' stage for liars and mooney s - who were both pretty good, in a fiery kind of way >she didn't really elaborate as to what she was up to carpentry? > > http://homepage.mac.com/quietcore expensive homepage, eh! - -- **************cut when replying***************** ___________________________________________ ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 22 Jul 2002 20:43:53 -0400 From: WWWhatsup Subject: Re: find-your-mind so... There are USB cards that digitise straight to MPEG-1 in realtime (like the dazzle) - - you don't get the same quality as letting the PC take it's time on encoding- but not awful. If you're in difficulty i can do it - mail me off list cos i have a filter running and might not see it otherwise. joly - -- **************cut when replying***************** ___________________________________________ ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 22 Jul 2002 23:10:05 EDT From: Surreal79@aol.com Subject: Re: find-your-mind so...
