Hey Sara. Good to hear from you. Here's a little tip: Go to: http://www.archive.org This website will actually locate old inactive websites dating as far back as 1996. I tried it for your old website and it WORKED. If you go to http://www.archive.org and type in the URL of the old site, the archive site will spit out all the incarnations of your site and show an asterisk (*) next to the dates when the site was updated. Check it out! - ----------Chuck "sara superhero" To: find-your-mind@smoe.org Sent by: cc: owner-find-your-mind@smoe.org Subject: find-your-mind walking dead... I haven't heard the new No Doubt album but the tracks I've heard (singles?) sound a lot more techno and less ska-ish than the early stuff by them. I remember reading somewhere that when their last album did not sell as well as they would have liked (a la "Electric Honey" for the LJ gals), No Doubt decided to work w/ a lot of different producers and simply come up w/ some good timey danceable (less mature/serious) stuff. Well, commercially it worked. I'll bet that LJ was hoping that the same idealogy was going to work w/ E-Honey, after the maturity/seriousness of FIFO. Maybe it was the times and all the teeniebopper/boy/girl groups like N*Sync and Britney that derailed them. For a long time, I've been jonesing for an "alternative" LJ CD..... stuff like Love That's Real Suite, Radiating, Daddy, Queen of Bliss, etc. I will happily reimburse for blank/postage -- even a couple bucks more if necessary.
