Viv's style and beat is heavy on the album, and I hate to make comparisons, but the the album has a Kostars feel to it (especially on Vivian's vocals). There is a handful of instrumental tracks on the album, along with a track by the beautiful Emmylou Harris. 14 tracks in all, here is the line-up: Pearls on a String You Free Yourself Spy in the Lounge Est-Ce Que Tu... (French Lyricks) Roll The Dice St-Tropez Unhand Me You Wretch They May Call Me A Dreamer Fool For A Country Tune Regrets In Bordertown Order Coffee (w/Emmylou) Conga Style Caught in a Dream Dusty Trails Theme After two takes, I really enjoyed Roll The Dice. The album comes out on the 9th, and I hope Vivian and Josephine get the support they deserve. It's definitley one for the collection! Jon On Tue, 25 Apr 2000, C.C. Let's just say that Vivian and Jo took all the wonderful qualities of "Kostars," blended them with Vivian's classy Euro background, and some of the nice little experiments of "FIFO" and created a quiet little masterpiece. Expect a full review of the album after I listen one or two more times. - --- "Jonathan M. Brickner" wrote: > The album is fantastic.
