In Jill's statement she said something about their music styles going in different directions and that they had come to a natural conclusion, etc. So, maybe this means she and/or they all will have solo careers or join other good bands, etc. Yeah, it's hard to stomach never seeing them as a group again but hey...you never know...it would rock if they had a reunion tour like Fleetwood Mac or had a farewell tour now, etc. Or even seeing them as solo acts....whatever may happen. LJ breaking up is probably the worst thing that I could have foreseen happening and was such a shock, but I'm just glad that the girls are all still okay and chose this path on their own and not by industry people. I much rather have them break up then hear that they all got in an accident on their tour bus and died or something. I guess all I can say is to think positively and hope for the best. I had imagined growing old with LJ and would have loved to follow them on a tour. I will continue to listen to them, play along, and learn more of their songs. I will also keep trying to turn more people onto them and their magic. OK...this is long enough. Just wanted to tell you to keep your heads up and LJ on your mind, in your heart, stereo, on your walls, etc. :) ~Kate~ >From: "-" >Reply-To: find-your-mind@smoe.org >To: >Subject: find-your-mind What to look for >Date: Tue, 4 Apr 2000 18:15:32 -0700 > >How r u guys taking this news. I must admit I was pretty devasted by the news myself but decided not to write a message or anything as everyone else pretty much said what was on my mind anyways. Even tho I'll miss them as a band I'm looking quite forward to seeing what they'll come up with individually. I must say the samples on the Dusty Trails page has me quite interested and I cant wait for the album to come out! While I'm here I just wanted to ask y'all: I heard that LJ have covered Brown Sugar for a Rolling Stones tribute album which is for a charity of some sort - is it true at all? I havent seen it around anywhere I think some of the other acts on it include The Corrs, No Doubt and S Club 7 , cant remember the others tho sorry! Has anyone heard about this? Also, any news on what the 2 upcoming songs on the Titan AE and Felicity soundtracks are? Thanks for readin'!
