Here's a question I've always wanted to ask the list: How did you eventually discover the band and became a fan? I discovered them from seeing their "Ladyfingers" video during the Vh1 special Lilith Fair week they had last summer. After seeing the video about three times or so and couldn't get the song out of my head, I rushed out to get Electric Honey. I was back at the store again to get their other albums cuz my brother kept borrowing my cd and we both wanted to hear their other work. :) Katie ();) ===== ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ "You've got a lucky face." - John Lennon __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? I saw their Saturday Night Live appearance when it originally aired. I thought they were really different and cool. Then I heard "Citysong" on the radio a few times and finally took a chance on "Natural Ingredients" (I wasn't really diverse musically at the time). Over time, my love for their funky beats and sensual sounds grew and now I'm an LJ junkie. - -Mike M. ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 5 Mar 2000 18:05:08 EST From: SuprFrk4@aol.com Subject: Re: find-your-mind Discovery? hmm, i'm a relatively new lj fan. naked eye got me hooked, it was always on the radio and when i knew almost all the words by heart, i figured the song was awesome and went out and got the cd and fell in love immediately (though for the first few weeks i though jill was gabby and gabby was jill since there weren't really any captions for the photos...) then i got manny and eventually na and then eh the day it came out..its been love since they, i even have the day marked that i bought my fever cd...hehe i'm lame. lindsay ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 05 Mar 2000 16:37:11 -0800 From: Jonathan Brickner Subject: Re: find-your-mind Discovery? I got the Grand Royal Mix Tape that was released probably in the time of Natural Ingredients and it had She Be Wantin It More on there (along with other Grand Royal stuff). Loved the track, bought Manny, and that was how it began. Jon ------------------------------ End of find-your-mind-digest V3 #24 ***********************************
