And, although my personal favorites are Sexy Hypnotist and Space Diva, I'd have to say Nervous Breakthrough is the most instantly accessible, reach-out-and-grab-ya song on the album. So putting it out as a single is a good idea, because I'll bet a lot of people who have never heard LJ before would be hooked by that song. Hope you're feeling better, Miles > Just to have more focussed LJ content, I was wondering what do you guys > think should be the next single off Electric Honey? Carlino" Subject: Re: find-your-mind next EH single Another thing that's important when considering a single, is the sad state of radio these days. Specifically, which song do they think will get airplay in such a restrictive, format-driven medium. IMHO, "Nervous Breakthrough" is a good choice for "top-40" format radio. Other good choices: "Alien Lover" and "Devotion." LookSmart … or keep looking. http://www.looksmart.com ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 08 Nov 1999 06:33:17 PST From: "Ed T." Its my personal favourite on the new album, plus its got kind of a dancy feel to it, so its got a lot of potential for remixes if a single is ever released. I hope this video includes a storyline which involves: a) the girls needing therapy b) a vast array of bad therapists who obviously cannot provide (which is what I'll be in a couple of years) c) a psychoanalytic couch d) random hallucinations to cover for the required band-playing-their-instruments passage e) a throbbing and everlasting headache symbolized by the tune's rhythm f) a scene in which the protagonists walk on the street and have strangers turning to them saying "thanks to you, I had a nervous breakthrough", and the protagonists not understanding this. g) Gabby's white shoes. Obviously, I've thought about this. But you don't have to pity me. fever in (and when the fuck will it be out?), Marie ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 8 Nov 1999 17:37:54 EST From: Supastar11@aol.com Subject: Re: find-your-mind Dusty Trails and STUPID SURVEY WARNING.
