The LJ fanclub can be reached here: Nice Duds 109 Minna St. #250 San Fransisco, CA 94105 Please tell them that member #99 (that's me!) sent you (I'm totally serious). In my experience, whoever runs this thing is a little flakey...they also do the Breeders fanclub (Breeders digest) and I don't think they ever updated my address, even though I bugged them to do it...grrr...so what I'm saying is, don't expect a quick response. (if anyone is on the breeders digest thing...have you gotten anything since they sent out that 7" a couple years ago?) As a side note, I was wondering if anyone knows a place that still has the Dr. Pepper style LJ shirts (if this makes no sense to you, then you probably haven't seen it). I need another LJ shirt cuz my glittery FIFO one is nearly dead. - -Sarah Fumblchick@aol.com wrote: > hey all, > > i asked a while ago about an LJ fan club and all of you refered me to the LJ > grand royal website. well i went there and I coud not find anything specific > on a fan club such as phone # , registration, etc. so if anyone finds it > could they PLEASE send me the specific web page link? thanks > > ~ steph ~ ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 14 Oct 1999 17:49:05 PDT From: "someone !!" Subject: Re: find-your-mind LJ fan club THE LJ FANCLUB NO LONGER EXISTS...AS FAR AS I KNOW THERE ARE NO PLANS TO START ONE UP AGAIN. WWW.LUSCIOUSJACKSON.COM IS ABOUT ALL THERE IS FOR NOW, THEY MIGHT DO A FANZINE KINDA DEAL ONLINE BUT I DONT THINK THERE ARE PLANS TO RESURRECT THE FANCLUB. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME TRYING TO CONTACT NICE DUDS. SORRY TO BREAK THE BAD NEWS... sarah as far as the breeders digest thingy...i think the whole of tectones is done and over with there, the people that handled both fan clubs. so i'd suppose there is no longer a breeders digest, at least not through the same people. as for the dr. pepper tshirt...one place online had them that i had a link to, but apparently they sold out and told me to take away their link (i'm not sure i ever did ...oops) anyways i can't be any help otherwise for that shirt, but mine has a hole in it and one of my other lj shirts (the one we got at lilith) got all but destroyed when i washed it with shoes after being out in the hurricane last month...urgh. sara who is in a really really bad mood and hates everyone for being evol and obnoxious and rude lately!!! ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 14 Oct 1999 21:32:50 EDT From: MykePM@aol.com Subject: Re: find-your-mind how does "survey" sound like? The ladies really rock out on this one -- Gabby in particular, and Kate steals the show at the end. Also great live is "Country's A Calling". I really like it on the album, but I want it to be a little noisier. The "Kiss the ground, run my fingers through the earth..." part toward the end of "Electric" is a really cool moment, too. - -Mike ------------------------------ End of find-your-mind-digest V2 #134 ************************************
