There was some discussion of it here, yonks ago. I think there are a few soundboards that he'd hoped to release as live albums. While there are some really good Egyptians-era soundboards on DIME, I can see why some musicians really don't like them. Robert Schneider (ex Apples in Stereo, now Prof. Schneider doing some number theory things) really didn't like soundboards as they had no audience feedback, so the between-track bits seem awfully sparse. Robert's a bit of a mix-fiend, though (even if he did his mixing on two damp pieces of string) so he has to have his sound the way he wants it.
