I can wholeheartedly recommend Kishi Bashi's two albums: 151a and Lighght. They just make me happy. A few years back, you never would have been able to convince me that there would come a time when I was not "up" on much of the new indie/alterna-/ "whatever the kids are calling it these days" music out there in the aether. Because my record/CD/MP3/FLAC collection is stuck in the not-too-distant-path, I'd like some suggestions of some favorite tracks or albums from the past few years, say 2009-present. I've been specifically in the mood to listen to sappy love songs & the like, so any particular emphasis in that area would be acceptable, although I'm open to my horizons being broadened in general. And if/when you're feeling sinister, try the new Ed Harcourt EP, Time Of Dust (some rather Robynesque lyrics in this one, too). - -----Original Message----- From: Aaron Lowe Sent: Thursday, May 15, 2014 4:35 AM To: fegmaniax Subject: Assignment: Love songs I have a request/assignment for my fellow fegs....
