Found it through Kimberley Rew's homepage. The first half of the video is an early (pre-SB and certainly pre-Katrina) Waves footage, and it's pretty great, in its own right. Then there is the SB footage which which may or may not feature bearded Robyn. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xinvn9_the-waves-and-the-soft-boys-at-strawberry-fair-1977_music?start=6#from=embediframe If this exists, it stands to reason that there is more extant footage of not only this performance, but others as well. And while I'm on the subject...what the hell happened to the Soft Boys live at Dingwall's footage?! * Fascinating - who would have expected that Kim would have been playing Acker Bilk's clarinet feature 'Stranger On The Shore' on guitar in 1977? Or is it just a tune that sounds like 'Stranger On The Shore'? The voice on 'Cold Turkey' is certainly Robyn. - - Mike Godwin ------------------------------ End of fegmaniax-digest V19 #147 ********************************
