I'm there due to some work I did on a book whose release party is 12/18 at the Make Out Room (actually it's for two books - the one I worked on is Scott Miller's *Music: What Happened?* The other one's a book on Todd Rundgren.) Anyway, that's one venue...I'm trying to see about other get-togethers. I'm staying with friends in Alameda - and my Oakland friend Bradley has suggested a place called The Trappist, which I'm assuming is somewhere thereabouts the two towns. - -- ...Jeff Norman The Architectural Dance Society http://spanghew.wordpress.com ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 08 Dec 2010 10:38:29 -0800 From: Tom Clark Subject: Re: attn: Bay Area fegs On Dec 8, 2010, at 7:57 AM, 2fs wrote: > I'll be in the Bay Area for a couple days - arriving late night 12/17 > (Friday) and staying through the evening of the 20th. Any excuse to go to The Trappist is a valid one. Plus there's a great Mexican place next door if you'd like to do dinner.
