That's true... but in my book it would probably go like this: 1) Damned little 2) Kinks from ~'65-'71 or so... 3) Damned little that even comes close to that 4) Some really good stuff 5) A bunch of okay stuff some of which is sorta like the Kinks 6) Kinks Arista records 7) Stuff that's less good You know, and so on down to Paramore and stuff. - -Rex ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 9 Nov 2010 18:51:50 -0800 From: Rex Broome Subject: Talkin' Hard Drive Blues Part 87 Revisited: The Sequel Hard Drive Damage Report: Every record I ever bought by any artist with names starting with "D" of "E" is totally gone forever. My response to which ironically starts with "F". What I could use is some way to save my iTunes library in some kind of useable text form ASAP, before I have to start fucking around with it, which I should do relatively soon. I need to look into a thing or two, one of which being just what I can do with cinemelon.com, my hosting site. It actually belongs to a friend of mine in Morgantown, WV, but I've used it as an online storage shed for years. I need to find out how much it'll actually hold, because if it'll hold 1+TB I may well backup my whole damned library there, and if there's an easy way for third parties to upload to it without my giving out the password protocols. Which I don't know if they're really called protocols, it just sounded like a cool, unnecessarily badass way to talk about stuff probably brought on by BSG overload.
