B Nocturne, which was recorded during Fat Bob's tenure as a Banshee, is one of my favorite live sets. B Some crazy-ass guitar and it really shows up Budgie's fab gear drumming. B But Juju just stomps. Two other JUJU's I can highly recommend: From the jazz world, and one of Wayne's best albums: Wayne Shorter - Juju From the world music corner, one of King Sunny's best albums: King Su nny Ade -JuJu Music Michael B. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 3 Aug 2010 14:05:50 -0700 From: "Bri N" Subject: Stars The new Stars albums "The Five Ghosts" is very enjoyable! - -Nuppy ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 3 Aug 2010 23:00:31 +0000 (UTC) From: michaeljbachman@comcast.net Subject: Fwd: Stars - ----- Forwarded Message ----- From: "Bri N" To: fegmaniax@smoe.org Sent: Tuesday, August 3, 2010 5:05:50 PM Subject: Stars The new Stars albums "The Five Ghosts" is very enjoyable! - -Nuppy That'sB at the top of B my "to order" list. And that's how I've always pronounced it in my head when I've read it. Only now have I realized that it's actually just a fancy spelling for "Suzy" :) - -- b. Greetings, fellow fegs! I'm cap in hand for a favour of sorts, probably no chance, but hey, can't hurt to ask, and if you're looking for something "no one" will know or have, ask the fegs! The Two Ronnies did a sketch all those years ago that was entirely in really clever, fast-paced rhyme. A line I remember was, "You would go upriver to deliver a shipment of equipment, leaving Dave Grainger in grave danger, and Hedley Merrill in deadly peril?" I have a chance to do some English sketch comedy in a show several months from now, and would love to work this sketch in if I had a transcript of it. I Googled(tm) several quoted bits that I remember verbatim, such as the above, but no hits. Does anyone out there remember this sketch, by any chance have a recording or transcript of it? Probably not! But if anyone can reach might, it's you guys! peace, Edward ------------------------------ End of fegmaniax-digest V18 #150 ********************************
