The first couple of songs are fantastic, but if I listen to too many in a row they all start to sound the same... I think the proper use for these songs is as mix tape components. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 13 Jul 2010 06:22:40 -0700 From: kevin studyvin Subject: Re: Best of (100% RH content!) Sounds about right. I've listened to 19 songs so far. They sound uncannily like early Beatles, but I think I mainly like early Beatles because I'm so familar with the songs. I'm not sure I have need for more of the same. It's pleasant, but I don't see myself listening to them much in the future ... still I'm glad to have learned about them, so it was worth my while already. - -- Sebastian Hagedorn Am alten Stellwerk 22, 50733 Kvln, Germany http://www.uni-koeln.de/~a0620/ "Being just contaminates the void" - Robyn Hitchcock ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 13 Jul 2010 17:54:31 -0400 From: Jeremy Osner Subject: Re: Los Shakers One thing that's nice is, the accents make for plenty of mis-heard lyrics -- there's one song where at the end I can swear the singer is repeating, "You fucked me again..."
