No, I don't. I listen on earmuff headphones. I've got about a 50% chance of putting them on backwards, and things don't sound "wrong". Mind you, I listen to a lot of music from the 1960s, when stereo cost you a dollar more and they were going to give you crazy track separation so that you'd feel like you were getting your money's worth. Gimme some *more* motherfucking "!"s! and that was this year's national folk festival. but if there's a word to express hotness of even greater magnitude that "scalding", then the fest was that. i'd been thinking that if it could be half as awesome as last year's fest, then i'd be happier'n a pig in shit. instead, it fucked the stick out of last year (but good). miles, be prepared to crap your gourd next year as the festival rotates to nashville, tn (and don't be surprised if you find me shacking up with y'all for the three days!). alas, though, i'll only have access to this internet connection for a few more days' time -- not to mention that it's fairly slow, and that i don't think the port forwarding's in ship-shape. so, no way, really, for me to share all the recordings. i *do* think, however, that if somefeg is willing to dime them out, then i can be able to have everything prepared (i.e., .wavs chopped up into tracks, conversion to .flacs, making of fingerprint files, writing of .txt files, making of .torrent files); and then to slap it all onto a disc. if this somefeg is *you*, then please send me your snail-mail address, and i'll endeavour to post a disc to you. with festivals, i usually upload one or two shows per day. but, do it however it suits your fancy, yo. ------------------------------ End of fegmaniax-digest V18 #133 ********************************
