Crap! I always forget this story until my GF reminds me (since A. I could have barely cared less at the time, and B. I've had so many actually meaningful / decent celeb run-ins), but...in '02 I had an encounter w/the currently-still-living Corey (Feldman)... We were playing poker at the Excalibur in Vegas (I know, but a good spot to try and scoop up some cash from the dads seeking to try out their weak-ish home-game moves, back then in the earlier days of the poker splash), when a fairly-drunk Feldman sat down (looking pretty ridiculous in sunglasses (at night! bonus Corey Hart points!) and a floppy hat) to play. He was accompanied by a (fairly-obvious) "professional" female friend (and a cheap-looking one, at that)...and mumbled his way through maybe an hour or so of making mistakes, playing out of turn, being overly cheerful, and losing, losing, losing. Pretty amusing...but, like I said, Corinne has to always remind me it even happened - apparently made that much of an impression on me. (More memorable - - in a random way - from that trip? Playing blackjack with a pair of longtime Jethro Tull roadies who were mightily impressed that I could name more than Ian from the band...I whipped out a quick "Martin Barre" AND the former "Barriemore Barlow" to show them I was no piker...lol!) Michael "Attempted poker 'joke': That night, Feldman seemed to be more of a star of 'The 7-2 Off Coreys' - hah!"
