It's a fun word to use, though. I have a friend at work from New Zealand. He always has very clever and unusual insights. I was giving a presentation and he raised a point that was friendly, but a bit of a heckle. I looked at him and then turned upside down and said: "you're sooo antipodean". I think he was the only one who got it. I was glad the wiki included mention of Ze's Earth Sandwich project.
