I'll just keep on going and hope things slowly improve. I don't want to go into any details in this fairly open forum, but if anyone wants to know more they can contact me privately. Suffice to say that my symptoms suggest temporal lobe epilepsy, but I should have done something sooner and if I had things might have been very different. I am now doing so - too late to save my relationship, but hopefully soon enough to get effective help. Thankfully I have quite a few good friends here to lean on (including a long-time friend who works as a psychiatrist, so he has a lot of insight into what's happening). As to the situation between myself and Alice, I can only hope things will calm down to the point where we can at least be friends. Which he does no matter what anyone is saying. "Heresy" is a strong word, and I've sometimes defended the Femmes' catalog as underrated... but the answer for me, Eddie, is no, the Pogues win without breaking a cold sweat. I'm not casting aspersions on the Femmes at all, but none of their albums, even the first one, can top RUM, SODOMY, & THE LASH, PEACE & LOVE, and IF I SHOULD FALL FROM GRACE WITH GOD. But to me, the Pogues can do no wrong. I even really like the two Shane-less albums. later, Miles - -- over a year of feeling guilty about not blogging enough! http://readingpronunciation.blogspot.com/ ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 7 Mar 2010 22:11:45 -0800 From: kevin studyvin Subject: Re: RH Space setlist > [encore - piano] >> >> Flavor of Night >> >> Reynardine (Fairport Convention) >> > I live Reynardine obsessively.
