I'm not sure if the full version was ever played on mainstream radio back in the day. There is an annoying abridged version that they used to play on AM radio while the cool FM stations played the long version. Gosh, this brings me back to high school. How long is MacArthur Park? Wait...I just looked it up and its 7:30 minutes long, but even AM radio played the entire song uncut. And Boston is reeling from the death of Mosi Tatupu. And I personally am reeling because he was only a few months older than I am. Spring training has begun..... I've just remembered something I do which would definitely count as a quirk. I used to use a pedometer as part of my daily exercise programme. After a while I noticed that they were pretty inaccurate, and that I could get better results by keeping track of the number of paces I took. Which was easy enough by counting in binary on my fingers. Well, it's developed into a habit, so that if i'm out for a long walk my fingers will often indicate a number of steps. (This has on one occasion resulted in a major problem when someone thought I was giving him the bird...) >Mosi Tatupu no idea who he is, but it's a great Samoan name. My friend is a huge East Enders fan and subscribes to this "paper." In Vol. 18, Issue 1 (no 69) is an article talking about Robyn, his music and the IODOT NY album and such. Neat read, nothing too new or earth shattering. Mike ------------------------------ End of fegmaniax-digest V18 #41 *******************************
